Japanese Crane Game (UFO Catcher)
Crane games were popular at Japanese game arcades in the 1990s. In Japan, claw crane games are called "UFO catcher". Various kinds of stuffed animals were used as prizes for claw crane games. This page introduces the cute stuffed animals I got in the early 1990s.

Stuffed animal piled up in the room
This picture shows a lot of stuffed animals piled up in my room at the time. I visited the game arcade almost every day after school lessons. There were many claw crane games at Japanese arcades at the time, but I was only looking for stuffed animals.
Japanese stuffed animal
This is the red panda stuffed animal that I collected the most. Since the stuffed toy's hand is facing upward, it was surprisingly easy to take. I was waiting for it because the game arcade clerk repositioned the stuffed animal about every 30 minutes. There are four types of red pandas: brown, light brown, dark brown, and white. The white red panda is a rare item.
Unfortunately, there were no beautiful photos left. There are two types of rabbits, large and small. The big rabbit was twice the size of a normal stuffed animal. This is a very nice stuffed animal, but the competition rate was high and we couldn't get enough numbers.
There was also a stuffed animal series. This is a series of stuffed animals holding food. There were 6 types of stuffed animals in all.
Occasionally, a well-made stuffed animal will be a prize for a claw crane game, compared to other stuffed animals. However, such stuffed animals are very difficult to pick up and hard to collect.
