It's short touring report.

Today is warm and comfy. I went to visit my ancestors' grave.

I'm leaving by motorcycle at 8:30.

I make a yearly visit to Yoshino plum-grove park in Ome.

I got there late, there is not space in the parking lot. So, I have waited a few minutes to use a space.

There is a large sightseer. I paid 200yen(=2dollars), admission to the park. For your information, if you arrive at here early morning, you don't need to pay.

I walked uphill and looked over the park. Umm.... not-so-great landscape. see a beautiful scene. The plum blossoms are late in blooming this year.

Most plums are breaking bud. I have visited here at the same time each year. Last year, the plum blossoms are in full bloom.

This year, it's been unseasonably cold here. Therefore the plum blossoms are late in blooming this year.

Today, many tourists come to here.

There is a reason for crowd of people.

The reason is it.

Ome city is decided to fall the all trees. Because many trees are infected "Plum pox virus" in this park. A cleared forest may regenerate in 10 years. We can not look at a beautiful views over several years. Therefore, many tourists come to here in this year.

I returned to the parking.

Hey! It's a bird dropping!! Oh my God!

Next, It's been a while since I visited here.

Here is "Ome Railway Park".

I'm going to report the Railway Park.

First, it's Japanese steam train D51-452. "D51" is a model name. "452" is a serial number.

This D51 is in a poor state of preservation. There is many white lines on the body by acid rain.

The prime exhibit is it, KuMoHa-40.

KuMoHa-40 is old electric locomotive of Japan National Railway. It was builded in 1932.

The serial number is 54. The serial number 74 is to be found in a "Railway museum".

There are many trains on the Park. But I'll report it for another day.

I decided to drive around here, because I have stated out late.

I have headed on north and driven from Ome to Fukiage Pass. There is not much traffic here. But there are some street racer on Lake Okutama round trip road.

There are lingering snow on side of a road. It's getting warmer, this is the season to drive motorcycle touring. Spring is near!!

I have hay fever. I really hate this season. I always keep a eye drop. Today, I have severe symptoms...

I had to shorten the touring. Today's number of miles driven is about 200km.

I stoped en route to go home at a neighborhood motorcycle shop.

The 41th Police Motorcycle Safety Riding Competion 2014 will take place in next week. Of course, I'll go this year. Last year, I have overslept.... I've got to be up early!!
